No full independence for Kosovo this year?

Koha Ditore’s [Kosovo Daily] correspondent from Brussels Augustin Palokaj writes
in an opinion piece for the paper that Kosovo leaders who “swear” they will not
accept anything short of full independence should be aware that there are no
such states which have international military presence in their soil, are not
permitted to join any other state and which have an international authority
prevailing over the local one.
“With the mere consent to negotiate on status, our leaders have agreed
for Kosovo status to be a result of an international compromise”, Palokaj also notes.
