Haradinaj ordered KPC Guard to honor Rugova (Exclusive)

Prishtina- Kosovo, Feb. 05,2006(Balkan Update)-A source within the Kosova Protection Corps (KPS) has told Balkan Update that the Former Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj ordered the KPC to lead the burial ceremony for the late President Ibrahim Rugova. The source tells me that the official honor guard of KPC refused to honor Rugova because he had never visited the grave of Adem Jashari. The source tells me that Jashari Family did not want the KPC Honor Guard, which bears Adem Jashari’s name, to honor Rugova. Apparently the Family is still furious that Mr. Rugova never visited the memorial of their family when every Albanin politicians on earth has done so.

According to the source, who works for the KPC and knows Haradinaj well, Agim Ceku, who is the overall General of the KPC, ordered the main KPC guard to honor Rugova but then refused to have his order carried out once he heard about objections from Jashari family. After this fiasco, Ceku called Haradinaj to tell him about the situation and asked him for advice. The source tells me that Haradinaj said he would take care of this, and ordered the KPC Honor Guard of Dukagjini region to take place in the ceremony. I asked the source how he could have ordered the KPC when he is not a member of KPC. His replay was short: “everyone in KPC has a great deal of respect for Haradinaj. They would do anything for him”.

Haradinaj told Mr. Ceku that we have to have KPC take part in the ceremony for two reasons: If KPC did not take part, the LDK militants would do so and this would cause infighting between different parties in Kosovo. The second reason had to do with the fact that Haradinaj respected Mr. Rugova and wanted the ceremony to be and honorable one. He told Ceku that this would also improve the image of KPC and Kosovo in general. The source tells me that Ceku agreed with Haradinaj and allowed the KPC Guard from Dukagjini to take part in the ceremony. This allowed everyone, including the Jashari Family and KPC, to save face.

What else would expect from a bunch of no hopers with these childesh antics, but yet claim they can effectively run kosovo on their own,im sure this is just another example how these people cant be entrusted to run anything, look at Albania worst living standards in europe not to mention a safe haven for drug dealers and people smugglers.

Arguments like your have become way too predictable. Your parrot menatlity should be seen as trite by any human being that considers himself as having a brain.

Like this website that strangely fails to report people being murdered and attacked like in the last 48 hours in Kosovo, but lets talk about things that really matter like this pitiful and pathetic not to mention irrelevant article, but a normal human being would have noticed that.

If thats the mentality of the people who seek to govern on their own it wouldnt give much confidence to the western goverments about their ability to deal REAL issues effectively,if all they do is squabble in very backward tribal ways that most civilised people are not familiar with how can the albanians be left in charge of anything, look at the state of Albania today its rated as the poorest and most miss managed couuntry in europe not to mention all the crime syndicates that run the place it doesnt look favourably for them at all.

Just stating the facts no need to get upset.

I though the guard was done by Nerodime soldiers?!! Interesting.

No. The guards who guarded him while he was in Parliament were from Nerodime but not those who were present during the actual burial ceremony.
